My name is Adam Gloyeske. I became interested in running in high school, where I began competing in cross country and track. From there, I went on to run in college with mild success. Now, I continue to run because because I love it. Ultramarathons are where my passions lie these days simply because I can immerse myself into nature, catch the sunrise, see wildlife, challenge myself, and self-regulate. Running is truly my therapy.
Photography is a relatively new passion of mine. My grandfather, Grandpa Bill, is who I must give credit to for that. It’s in the genes. I came up with the idea of taking up photography back in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. I’m happy I did. Photography allows me to see things from a different perspective, tinker with creativity, and have fun in the process. It gets me outside in nature to shoot some landscapes, and maybe make someone’s day by sharing it with them. Photography puts a pause on life, allowing us to travel back in time to experience a particular day or environment. We’ll see what the future holds, but be certain I’ll share it with you.
